Magazine Cover Fall 2024 Issue
The art directors and I wanted to capture the feeling of rest, hope, and growth for people pursuing the medical profession for the health and wellness theme of the issue.
We wanted something simple. Something that captures the vibe. Something poetic.
After meetings and ideations, we decided to go with this illustration with the trees that signify growth. I wanted this to be an encouragement for those who are in the healthcare field to have restful moments in the midst of busyness of helping others.

I wanted to explore different ideas to see what works best. They all focus on the feelign of “well-being.”
Feature Illustration
UCLAX is extending their classes tho UCSC students who have fewer opportunities to pursue healthcare profession.
We wanted to have the feature story and the cover to talk to each other. The tree branches show that UCLAX is expanding and growing. The girl who was inside in the cover is now outside, fully enjoying the season.
